We are seeking an experienced Ovation (High-Net-Worth) Claims Specialist. Come join our team What you’ll do: - Support Ovation Claims, focusing mostly on Property line of claims with some Automobile claims as may be required.- Assess structural repair and emergency mitigation damages- Provide reliable assurance of an effective control environment, focusing on the scope, repair, quality and customer experience of the program.- Conduct reviews and assist in conducting claims studies aimed at reducing total claims costs and increasing efficiencies while maintaining a high level of outstanding customer service.- Provide service within their region and others when required, while leveraging best practice and expertise in Xactware.- Handle assigned claims and act as a resource for shared Ovation Claims resources across Canada on claims handling and coverage.- Read and interpret scopes and estimates from contractors, provide meaningful feedback and establish actioning as required.- Train team members and may assist with Open/Closed file reviews.- Support the CAT team as needed, to coordinate response for Ovation customers and brokers.- Liaise with Ovation UW and Risk Management to spot trends and identify risks.- Work closely and in collaboration with Anti-Fraud on any suspected Ovation Fraud claim.- Establish relations with both our internal and external adjusting partners and vendor database. What you’ll bring: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior position handling property loss- Past experience adjusting Auto PD claims across Canada- Post Secondary education or working toward completion of the Insurance Institute program (CIP / FCIP).- Proven track record of handling large loss (> $150K)- Experience reviewing estimates using Xactimate software- Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills to handle high-profile clients and partners- Solid understanding of claims adjusting practises.- Bilingualism in a second language and adjusting licenses for Quebec and/or Atlantic provinces will be considered an asset What you’ll get- The salary band for this position ranges from $65,500 to $95,000.
