**SUMMARY**:
Room Attendant working to attain cleanliness and guest service standards. If you are a fan of being a team player, we encourage you to join us at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The hotel is currently renovating and all rooms will be new again with a fresh new start.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Clean up to 15 suites per day on a consistent basis

Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Suites include the comforts of home, with separate living room, kitchen and sleeping areas.
- Communicate with hotel guest requests in an empathetic and timely manner.
- Provide daily cleaning & sanitation per standards, Guest Rooms, and Public Corridors.
- Potential to cross train in the Laundry room folding, sorting linens. operating washers & dryers
- Most days start times at 9:00 am / Sundays 10:00 am
- Ensure communication of maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and proper working order, report concerns in a timely manner.
- Clean rooms, storage areas, to achieve brand standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Work with the Guest Services and Maintenance departments regarding the status of rooms, guest requests, and communication of upkeep and repair issues.
- Ensure the correct handling of lost & found in accordance with Hotel procedures.
- Ensure adherence to the Hotel’s policy regarding security of bedrooms and keys.
- To work and communicate in a professional and ethical manner with colleagues assisting where necessary to develop team spirit and to achieve standards of work and guest care as required by Hotel policy.
- Ensure correct placement of Fixtures, Furniture, and Amenities & Equipment.
- Maintain standards in compliance with Housekeeping Department Policies, Procedures and Practices.
- Provide support to Security by communicating any unusual situation or person
- Provide support per the Emergency Response Plan as directed.
- Participate in the hotel Health & Safety program
