**Responsibilities**:

- Operate sewing machine, sergers, and other equipment to sew, stitch, and hem fabric
- Measure and cut fabric accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
- Follow instructions by customers to alter special occasion dresses.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using sewing machines, sergers, and other sewing equipment
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics and stitching techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with fabric or equipment

Note: This job description is for a seamstress position in a retail setting.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday - Friday and Must be able to work every Saturday
