**Summary**:
Reporting to the Foreman, the Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment on construction sites.

**Job Duties Responsibilities**:

- Operate equipment safely and as per standard operating procedures
- Perform inspections, complete equipment maintenance tasks, and check equipment daily
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean and in safe/working order
- Load and unload equipment in a safe manner
- Report any accidents, damage, or defects immediately and work in a safe manner
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years’ experience in each Excavator, Dozer, Grader operating is required
- Proficient in Grader with experience in finishing
- Must have a valid driver’s license, Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset
- Willing to work out of town/province, 21-day shifts with 7 days off
- Physically capable of performing the duties of the position; standing, sitting, lifting, etc. for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Safety-first attitude
- Provide: must have a hard hat, high visibility vest, CSA approved steel-toed safety boots/shoes

**Salary**: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

- Excavator: 2 years (preferred)
- Dozer: 2 years (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)

- 100% (preferred)
