Care at Home Services offers a positive and supportive work environment where you have the unique opportunity to work with clients during their end of life care while offering comfort and support to family.
Training is provided for the successful applicant so that they feel confident to provide and monitor pain management, alleviate physical symptoms, educate patients and families on symptom management, as well as provide emotional support.
**Qualifications**:
- Current practicing registration with BCCNM with no restrictions
- Meets the physical requirements for the role
- Acute care or gerontological experience (long term care)
- Able to assess a patient’s condition and provide medication and comfort measures as needed
- Comfortable working independently in a home care setting
- Strong critical thinking skills
**Job type**:
