Tow Truck Driver

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Respond promptly to towing requests and emergencies, ensuring timely arrival at the scene.
- Operate tow trucks and other vehicles safely while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Assess the situation of disabled or damaged vehicles and determine the best method for towing.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during stressful situations.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs on vehicles when necessary and assist with automotive repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including details of each tow and any additional services provided.
- Conduct regular inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to prioritize calls and manage workload efficiently.
**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably in towing or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs on vehicles.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
