- **You will be accountable for**:_
- Developing and tracking Key Performance Indicators to assess the success of recruitment strategies and processes. Provide strategic insights and reports to senior leadership to inform decision-making.
- Collaborating closely with the HR team to ensure that internal processes and best practices are followed, aligning recruitment strategies with the organization's long-term goals and strategic objectives.
- Assessing the effectiveness of internal recruitment strategies and processes to identify gaps and opportunities and proposing solutions.
- Establishing and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders and managers at all levels, fostering trust and enhancing the HR team's credibility and impact.
- Staying up to date on federal regulations related to temporary foreign workers, including LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) requirements, work permit conditions, and documentation to ensure all hiring practices comply with legal standards.
- Collaborating with immigration consultants and acting as a primary point of contact to facilitate visa sponsorships, work permits, and other immigration requirements, ensuring compliance with Canadian federal regulations for temporary foreign workers.
- Performing additional duties and projects as needed to support the HR department and organizational goals.
- **To be successful in this role you must have**:_
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment with a focus on senior-level roles and skilled trades recruitment
- Experience with the design and implementation of ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Familiarity with Alberta and BC labor laws and regulations, particularly around employment standards and workforce compliance.
- Demonstrate success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Thrive working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and love interacting with people all day
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Able to make sound and evidence-based recommendations in response to complex business challenges.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities.
- Ability and willingness to travel to all dealership locations in AB and BC and to travel to and represent the company at career fairs, college events, and industry recruitment functions.
