**What Will You Do?**
- Responsible to move trailers in and out of dock as per Dock instructions via radio/phone. Ensure reefers are set at the right temperature.
- Must keep the yard organized (placing trailers/trucks in their appropriate locations).
- Perform visual pre-trips on equipment (Trailer/Straight Trucks) before backing into the dock. Report any failures to appropriate personnel.
- Wash & sanitize trailers as needed. Reports must be completed and handed to the Driver Supervisor daily.
- Wash & sanitize outside carriers trailers as needed (Erb will bill the customer).
- Yard check to be performed every 8 hours including tenants (6:00am, 2:00pm & 10:00pm) and copies to be submitted to dispatch and the dock personnel. Visual checks must be performed every 3 hours.
- To understand and be able to set appropriate temperatures on reefers. Understand different temperature settings (Dual Temps, different zones).
- Organize trailer line-ups as required.
- Check oil in shunt trucks, plus other designated mechanical checks on trucks and trailers.
- Report mechanical defects on trucks and trailers immediately to the Driver Supervisor, Shop Mechanic or Dispatcher.
- Ensure all vehicles are plugged in during winter.
- Responsible to understand company Occupational Safety and Health regulations and abide by all company policies and procedures. Be aware of safety sensitive areas at all times.
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- One year (1) of experience equivalent to the job description.
- Class 1 or 3 license preferred but not necessary.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and a team player.
- A positive attitude, dependable, on time for work, and respectful with clients or co-workers.
- Good understanding of safe work practices and ability to safely operate dock equipment.
