KLC College**: Pharmacy Technician Instructor** Part time (8-10 hours/week) - Several positions available _ - MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON-SITE AT KINGSTON CAMPUS_ **About KLC** **Job Summary** KLC's Pharmacy Technician training program is a 40-week diploma program that provides students with the theoretical, practical, and experiential learning experiences to prepare them for a career as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT). A Registered Pharmacy Technician with in-hospital experience is preferred. The Pharmacy Technician Program Instructor will report to the Pharmacy Technician Program Coordinator. **Key Responsibilities** - available to students - promptly identify "at-risk" students and refer these students for appropriate assistance - prepare mid-term evaluations - daily attendance - responsible for grading all assignments, tests, projects, or simulation labs associated with the courses being taught - punctually start and end classes and labs at the prescribed times - be present during the prescribed hours of classes and labs - expect to be observed each term and may be mentored by another instructor - Be familiar with KLC College’s most current Policy and Procedures - keep current with changes in your field - participate in CE credits and/or conferences applicable to your field - create and maintain a network of other professionals **Minimum experience** 1) 4 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician **OR** 2) 2 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician **AND** (_any one of the following_) Hold a Bachelor degree from a Canadian University or an equivalent degree. **OR** A graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Science **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Freelance, Fixed term contract **Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - registered pharmacy technician: 2 years (required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kingston, ON
