Location: Saskatoon Reports to: Maintenance Manager Compensation: Hourly Job type: Full Time, Permanent, 2pm - 10:30pm shift We are Saskatchewan’s leader in waste transfer and recycling services. For more than 55 years, we’ve been building a reputation of excellence. **As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.** **Duties**: - Moving trucks safely. - Parking trucks safely and in an organized manner. - Washing and organizing tires. - Organizing Wash Bay equipment. - Wash containers, trucks, and floors. - Ensure Wash Bay is kept in clean and safe working condition. - Ensure all containers coming into the shop are washed and left in a state that is representative of our service levels. - Responsible for prioritizing work, based on communication with operations management staff, operators, mechanical staff, welders, and others to ensure that customer expectations for timely service are met. - Report containers needing repair. - Ensure the building is secure and locked at shift end. **Qualifications**: - Knowledge of operation of forklifts, trucks, and washers. - Class 3A driver’s licence with clean abstract an asset. - Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract required. - Ability to multi-task. - Ability to learn new tasks quickly. - Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised. - Good communication skills. - Physically fit and capable. - Mechanically inclined. - **A criminal record check will be required.** **What’s in it for you?** - A team environment that embraces a "work hard, play harder" culture. - A compensation package that is competitive and comes with excellent benefits. - Well-maintained equipment and facilities. - Opportunities for learning, advancement, personal growth, and challenge.
