Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a large commercial truck to deliver fresh produce to various locations according to assigned routes.
- Load and unload produce, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product quality.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting any issues or maintenance requirements.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Provide exceptional customer service by professionally interacting with customers at delivery locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

- Clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a large truck driver, preferably in a produce or food delivery setting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices associated with operating large commercial vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of produce and work in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

- delivery: 1 year (preferred)

- Class G Licence for 3 + years (required)
