Roofer/shingler

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. Must have 6-8 years minimum shingling experience. If you have metal roof experience that a big plus. If you have other exterior renovation experience that will also be an asset.
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Perform caulking to seal joints and seams for waterproofing.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or necessary repairs on existing roofs.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and general maintenance person staff, to complete roofing projects efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
- Lift heavy materials as needed during installation or repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety standards are met.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
- Strong skills in caulking, heavy lifting, and the use of hand tools.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to roofing work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions safely.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
