**Deli Manager**

We are seeking a **Deli Manager** to lead our deli department. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys food service, has leadership experience, and thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily deli operations including food preparation, service, and merchandising.
- Train, schedule, and supervise deli team members to ensure excellent customer service.
- Actively engage with customers, answer questions, and **upsell deli products and specials** to boost sales.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Create attractive displays and contribute to menu ideas (sandwiches, salads, hot foods, grab-and-go items).
- Monitor sales and costs to meet department goals.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of deli, restaurant, or grocery management/leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling standards.
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills** with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to **upsell products** and train team members to do the same.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coach staff.
- Flexible availability (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Positive, hands-on attitude and commitment to customer service.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$27.24 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
