**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a talented CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and modify designs based on project requirements, assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists and cost estimates
- Develop technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints based on project needs. Assist in system design and layout for various projects
- Incorporate electrical wiring and logic controllers into design plans
- Prepare and update documentation, including bill of materials, assembly instructions, and technical specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by reviewing and verifying all dimensions, materials, and specifications revising drawings as necessary, based on feedback from engineers or clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology
- Utilize Bluebeam software for markups and annotations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and principles
- Ability to meet tight deadlines as needed
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in 2D animation or visualization software is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 2 years (required)
- Drafting: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers license & reliable vehicle? (Not on bus route) (required)
