Oakville, Canada Local Tire Guys Full time

Local Tire Guys is looking for a dedicated and experienced **Tire Technician** to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for performing tire installations, repairs, rotations, and balancing. You’ll work directly with customers, providing expert advice on tire care and ensuring their vehicles leave the shop in safe condition.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger and light trucks
- Inspect and assess tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation levels
- Perform tire rotations, alignments, and ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Repair punctures and replace faulty valves
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with tire selection and answering questions
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- **Minimum 1 year of experience** as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive role
- Strong knowledge of tire installation, balancing, and repair procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting, crouching)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude is preferred
