Carpenter/painter

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Deligating and organizing work for day to employees or people working under them which includes transfer of skills and knowledge.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, caulking, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

**Requirements**:

- Carpentry skills like installation of baseboard and trim or hanging doors
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to all tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members.
- Attention to detail with a focus on restoring surfaces to their original condition.
- Have reliable transportation
- To be comfortable working at heights
- Electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Carpet Installation skills
- Tile work installation knowledge
- Flooring Knowlege
- All around renovation and construction knowledge
- Be able to work in a fast paced enviorment

Pay: $17.58-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 5 years (required)
- painting: 5 years (required)

**Location**:

- Milton, ON (L9T) (preferred)
