**Project Planner**
We are currently seeking a **Project Planner**to join our team.
**Location**: Ottawa, Ontario

**Job Type**: Hybrid
**Responsibilities**
- Develop, deploy, and improve governance, processes, methods, and tools for bid and project management.
- Provide support and expertise within the scope of bid/project management.
- Coach and challenge teams within the area of expertise.
- Organize dedicated meetings with the core team.
- Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in progress meetings, bid reviews, and project reviews as required.
- Capitalize on best practices and propose recommendations and improvements.
- Share and disseminate best practices across the organization.
- Depending on specialization, contribute to structuring, scheduling, estimating, risk and opportunity management, execution, and reporting.
- For planning specialization:

- Identify deliverables and track their progress throughout the project, rescheduling as necessary.
- Implement assessment processes for bid/project performance monitoring.

**Preferred Skills**
- Strong knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
- Expertise in planning, risk management, cost estimation, or data management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or a PMO role.
- Experience working in aerospace, defence, or a related industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or other scheduling tools.
- Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
