**Job description**
The Head Team Lead will work in conjunction with the store manager to oversee the overall management and success of a cannabis retail store, ensuring compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations. This role includes leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a safe and welcoming environment, and delivering exceptional customer while enforcing Cannabis Link policies and standard operating procedures.

**Key Qualifications**:
- Must be at least 19 years of age and compliant with provincial regulations.
- Valid CannSell Standard Certificate (required by law).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Clear background check (will be required upon hiring).
- Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Strong understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal labour laws.
- Proven experience in retail or customer-service management.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and financial management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment and adapt to evolving regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure adherence to cannabis laws and act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.
- **Team Leadership**:Lead, train, and support a high-performing team while managing scheduling and staffing.
- **Store Operations**:Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, sales performance, and customer service.
- **Customer Experiences**:Deliver exceptional service by educating customers on products and industry trends.
- **Financial Oversight**:Manage budgeting, cash handling, and accurate record-keeping for sales and inventory.
- **Safety and Security**:Implement safety protocols and maintain a secure retail environment.
- **Health and Hygiene**:Ensure store is clean, organized, and compliant with Health and Safety standards.
This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a compliant, customer-focused, and professional retail environment.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
