Who we are and your role:
Genie Senior Services speciallizes in seamlessly transitioning seniors from their ‘family home’ to a senior care home or retirement residence, you will play a vital and integral role within our dynamics. Typically we (usually 2 packers) go into our customers home the day before move day and spend usually around 4 hours packing everything up (ie. dishes, clothes, etc, getting everything ready for move day. This usually takes around 4 hours (give or take). Then on move day (the following day), is usually a full 8 hour day with the packers helping the moving crew a bit in the morning and then in the afternoon (after lunch) the packers will spend the afternoon UN-packing everything in the retirement home that our customer has moved into. We typically do all of this during regular week days (no weekends)

What you’ll need:

- Regular Class 5 drivers license (to be able to drive to a customer's home that needs to be packed). Hourly pay starts the minute you would leave your own house. It is possible another packer could pick you up, if you didn't live too far away from them.
- Ability to lift and move boxes
- Great attitude and ability to learn and develop
- You will be patient and compassionate, a disciplined self-starter with a high level of personal integrity with the desire to work with management to build and maintain client relationships and will appreciate the benefits of working on a team within a proven system of operation
- You will possess excellent people skills, resilience and the ability to keep focused through busy and challenging times
- Collaboration skills, with a good understanding of working within a team
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences within in a stressful environment
- Job duties related to moving, packing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Overtime

COVID-19 considerations:
Vaccination is required, as some retirement homes still require full vaccination to be allowed to enter their facility.

- Drivers license (required)
