**Description**:

- Home Instead is looking for certified_, Personal Support Workers (PSW), 2nd year Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). _Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home._
- Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion._

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Companionship_
- Hygiene Assistance_
- Home Management_
- Meal Preparation_
- Light Housekeeping_
- Shopping & Errands_
- Medication cueing_
- Personal care assistance _
- Keeping accurate records of care
- Properly maintain communication regarding: -Client activities -Progress -Concerns
- Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect
- Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care_

**Requirements to be a Caregiver**:

- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner_
- Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check_
- Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references_
- Complete our mandatory paid _caregiver orientation
- **Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment**_

**Part-Time, Casual, & Full-Time hours available. We have a variety of shifts available, as we are available 24/7 for our clients**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
