We are excited to announce a new opening for a **Junior CAD Technician,** an entry-level position based out of our **Calgary, AB** head office. We are looking for someone with strong CAD knowledge to join us on this exciting new opportunity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with our growing CAD department to prepare a wide range of engineering drawings, including site plans and 3D models
- Create accurate drawings which follow specific standards and guidelines.
- Document control to ensure client specifications and standards are met.
- Information gathering from clients to update relevant equipment drawings, PIDs, and process flow diagrams.
- Conduct post-processing operations on collected data to produce client deliverables of relevant quality, detail, and completeness.
- Successfully balanced and executed planning, quality, and communication in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, and punctual.

**Ideal Education /Experience**:

- Technical diploma, CAD certificate, or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Experience in mechanical piping design, process instrumentation, and flow diagrams (PID, PFD) is a necessity
- The ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Experience in Navisworks, Plant3D, Inventor, and Recap would be an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Highly adaptable and able to work efficiently and effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Well-developed general drafting and technical skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
