Maintenance Lead

Maintenance Lead to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s Machines. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The maintenance manager will undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. The goal is to ensure the companies machines are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations. All work is done in compliance with ISO and follows all health and safety regulations. Work orders are dealt with promptly to ensure maximum efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of maintenance team
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed as per the maintenance schedule.
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Assist in repairs and maintenance of equipment and building.
- Oversee maintenance program for tracking and closing.
- Ensure team is perform tasks in a safe and proper manner.
- Order parts when needed.
- Flag other issues when noticed.
- Support a “team” environment and look to help others in need.
- Ensure clean workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety protocol.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by upper management.
- Set an example for all employees by communicating with respect, being on time, following company policies, following ISO and demonstrating the values of Atlantic Braids.

**Qualifications**
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities 9
- Autonomous - works well with mínimal supervision
- Methodical - strong attention to detail and resolution to solve complex problems
- High school diploma or greater required
- 2+ years of maintenance experience - Mechanic experiences an asset
- Working knowledge of electrical, heating, plumbing systems - Physically capable of lifting 50lbs unassisted
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including forklift, power tools, large equipment etc
- ISO experience an asset
