Edmonton, Canada SPICE’d Childcare Services Full time

SPICE’d Tutoring is our onsite, private tutoring service tailored for children aged 3 to 12 years old, offering focused academic support that strengthens classroom performance while nurturing their Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative, and Emotional (SPICE’d) skills of each learner.

Delivered within our carefully curated SPICE’d environment, children benefit from one-on-one sessions that blend traditional academic strategies with intentional developmental support.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions focused on math concepts to enhance students' understanding and performance.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
- Foster a supportive learning environment through effective communication and encouragement.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to ensure comprehensive support for each child's educational journey.
- Utilize classroom experience to manage group dynamics and facilitate collaborative learning.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
- Familiarity with classroom environments and educational practices.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
