TITLE Portrait Photographer
Rate of $19/hour - Work schedule is typically Mon-Fri, early morning to mid afternoon

Ottawa and surrounding area
Position Overview We are seeking a photographer to capture outstanding portraiture in academic and business environments. You will work with the latest in photographic technology to provide high quality portraits and exceptional customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work with kids across your geographical area and fine tune your portrait photography skills.
Job Requirements:
- Transport, setup and tear down required photography equipment, lifting up to 40lbs
- Capture high quality portraits of students and staff members
- Provide a positive and exciting picture day experience for all customers
- Safeguard all student data on picture day
Qualifications:
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must have a working and dependable insured vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must have basic computer knowledge and skills to troubleshoot PC platform, software and tethered camera
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Photography industry experience is an asset
- Portrait photography in a studio setting considered an asset
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Skilled in problem solving and solution creation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English (French not required but considered an asset)
- Successful applicants must pass routine Vulnerable Sector Searches
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Work Location: In person
