**Thomas Solutions is looking for a Parts Advisor**

Where: 70 Beach Road, Hamilton, Ontario
- **We are expanding and are seeking a Parts Advisor to join our Team**_

**Parts Advisor Job Purpose**:
We are a Cartage, Manpower, Leasing company. We service a variety of equipment, which includes heavy trucks, tractors, trailers, passenger trucks, cars and provide full service to. We offer our clientele a wide array of versatility.

As a Thomas Solutions Parts Advisor, you will be in integral part of delivering “Service, Value, Performance to our loyal customers. You will use your parts and technical expertise to assist clients with understanding their vehicle maintenance and repair requirements for their unique needs.

**Our Parts Advisor will take responsibility for the following duties**:

- Communicating with Technicians to understand their parts requirements
- Sourcing appropriate parts from OEM and aftermarket suppliers

Track, reorder, and special-order inventory as needed.

Maintain accurate inventory and a clean workspace
- Finalize work orders (invoicing with internal departments)
- Preparing/providing service and product quotes (as required)
- Coordinate/Communicate with Parts Manager (Ordering parts and/or sublet services as required to satisfy client requirements)

Assist with inventory management, stock orders and returns as required
- Maintain **Thomas Solutions Code** of Conduct, Health and Safety Standards and ethics

**Parts Advisor, you will possess the following skills**:

- Highly effective communicator. Strong telephone skills, customer communication
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- You MUST have experience in either light duty or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Computer experience, especially with parts ordering an asset.
- Forecasting parts needed and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervising and training parts department staff members
- Process vendor invoices in Protractor
- Work closely with Accounting Department to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
- Request and follow-up with customer for Borels/PO#
- Trach asset PM's and notify team leads to bring in their vehicles for service.
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Some knowledge of tools and equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Pleasant and friendly workplace attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to take direction from a variety of different departments and able to prioritize according to importance
