Our customers are attracted to the fresh and diverse products found in our produce market. As a produce clerk you will creatively stock displays and cases in an appealing manner and rotate as necessary. You will receive, store, trim and price produce to ensure freshness and quality. You will also advise customers on the variety of produce items available in-store. Your organizational skills, attention to detail and significant use of memory are essential.

**D**uties & Responsibilities**:

- Minimize spoilage by product rotation.
- Sort, trim, process, package, and price produce to ensure quality and freshness.
- Handle damaged or spoiled products according to company policy and assist in controlling the level of damaged goods.
- Ensure favorable store image with customers by contributing to a clean, attractive and friendly environment.
- Perform job duties in a safe and effective manner
- Perform and assist in other duties as directed by the Produce Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passionate about food and the Pete's Fine Foods Brand
- Highly organized and pays attention to detail
- Produce knowledge/experience an asset
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required
- Primarily morning availability with flexibility to work evenings if required
