Be our next **Cash Application Specialist**

**Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will join the **Finance **group, based in Brampton office reporting to the Vice President of Finance.

**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Accurately record payments in the company’s financial systems
- Reconcile customer payments with open invoices to clear outstanding balances
- Investigate and resolve any payment discrepancies or missing details, including short payments, overpayments, and partial payments
- Monitor and update customer accounts for accurate payment status
- Track metrics such as unapplied cash, discrepancies, and customer payment patterns
- Communicate with customers to obtain missing payment details when necessary

**What your experience looks like
- University degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of Accounting (AP/AR/Billing) knowledge
- Understands revenue recognition
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with independent work habits
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working in a fast-paced office and deadline oriented
- Working knowledge of Deltek Vision software is a definite asset
