**Manager, Child Care Programs (Full-time 37.5/week) - Richmond, BC**

**$70,000-$75,000 yearly**

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Foster a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children and staff.
- Ensure equipment and the physical environment is free of health and safety hazards.
- Nurture relationships with each child and family based on mutual respect, trust and the celebration of the uniqueness of each child and family.
- Liaise with partner agencies and professionals to support children’s progress and success.
- Provide leadership and guidance for staff in planning and implementing inclusive, developmentally appropriate activities that meet the needs of each child.
- Facilitate effective team communication and interpersonal relationships emphasizing cooperation and flexibility

**YOUR CAPABILITIES**:

- Formal training in Early Childhood Education, with Special Needs and Infant/Toddler Certification preferred.
- Five years’ recent experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong written, verbal, and nonverbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability and experience to deliver inclusive programming with a sensitivity to people from diverse cultural, health and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Current First Aid Certification and clear, current Criminal Records Check.

Seedlings Child Care Centre will provide a full range of child care programming, creating more than 100 new spaces in a state of the art facility that is conveniently located in central Richmond along The Canada Line Skytrain route.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
