**Quick Stats**

***Pay**: $18.00 to $20.00/hr (depending on experience) + 4% vacation pay + share of tips pool
***Shift options**: weekdays, weekends, daytime, 4 to 8 hr shifts

**The Job**

Our Deli & Kitchen Assistants prepare food, assist customers, keep our Deli & Kitchen clean and stocked and our customers happy Training will be provided in food preparation, kitchen cleaning & sanitation, inventory management, customer service and of course cider This is a great part-time job working with a positive group of people, with plenty of time spent outdoors during our Patio Season. **About You**

You are a friendly, hard working foodie with a proven track record in commercial kitchens or grocery delis and a customer service star In addition you have:
***Education**: Food Safe Level 1 - required; post secondary training in commercial kitchens - preferred; Serving it Right and First Aid Certification - an asset;
***Vocational** experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or deli - required.
***Communication** **skills**: Demonstrated success in teamwork.
***Personal aptitude**: curiosity, great listening skills and openness to feedback. Ability to work well with others and to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done. Reliability
***Work week availability**: Able to work part-time hours, day time shifts, on weekdays and/or weekends
***Physicality**: The physical strength to safely lift and carry heavy items (e.g. dish racks); work on your feet for hours at a time; perform frequent physical movements in a kitchen throughout the day and to work indoors and outdoors, rain or shine.
