As the **Sustainability Solutions Manager **you are responsible for:

**Terrapass** you will:

- Support the design and delivery of environmental products for all sales channels and clients
- Serve as an environmental products resource on carbon emission calculations, carbon offsetting practices and carbon offset project characteristics
- Maintain pricing models, position forecasts, and financial forecasts
- For
**Just Energy** you will
- Manage the Stat Rewards program for all brands
- Support voluntary green projects and audits
- Evaluate and lead efforts to expand Just Energy’s Sustainable Products & Services
- **Carbon Footprinting**
- o Develop and maintain expertise in carbon foot-printing best practices
- o Maintain and enhance Terrapass carbon foot-printing models and tools
- o Support the development of new carbon footprinting models for Terrapass sales channels and external clients
- **Environmental Product Management, Design and Pricing**
- o Coordinate with Supply to manage carbon offset inventory, costs, and availability in Terrapass product and sales systems
- o Lead the completion of annual Green-e offset and REC audits, and provide Terrapass reporting for the annual Grant Thornton green audit
- o Maintain pricing matrices for brokers and custom commercial proposals
- o Prepare custom project and pricing proposals for commercial clients
- o Support the development of new carbon offset products for internal sales channels and for external clients to offset the carbon emissions of target customer groups or products
- o Adjust product content and pricing in response to changes in carbon offset costs and emission factors
- o Manage BI reporting on consumer product KPIs including product revenue, sales volume, COGS, and gross margin
- o Prepare analyses on market trends, customer characteristics, costs, and regulatory issues to enhance competitiveness, optimize risk exposure and improve performance
- **Carbon Offset Project Expertise**
- o Develop and maintain knowledge of carbon offset industry rules including project registries, methodologies, and quality standards
- o Perform due diligence on projects purchased by Terrapass
- o Prepare project information for marketing and sales teams
- **Customer Thermostat Rewards Program**
- o Manage relationship with demand response partner, working to maximize customer participation and optimize results
- o Coordinate cross-functional program communications and operations
- o Identify opportunities to increase enrolments and expand footprint
- **Sustainable Products & Services**
- o Support annual Just Green audit
- o Analyze opportunities for product and services expansion, creating financial models for evaluations, and leading cross functional projects

**Desired Background**:

- At least 5 years of experience in relevant role
- Experience in sustainability, renewable energy, or environmental roles
- Knowledge of environmental products including carbon offsets and RECs
- Ability to perform carbon footprint calculations with large data sets
- Ability to understand the scientific methodologies of different carbon offset projects and advise internal teams and external clients on the different methods
- Ability to lead cross functional projects
- Experience with demand response programs
- Familiarity with trends in sustainability including policy, operations, and reporting
- Commitment to ensuring that Terrapass adheres to leading environmental practices
- Dedicated to customer service and providing timely solutions to client needs
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Works effectively on a team composed of people with diverse backgrounds
