**DUTIES & KEY RESULTS AREAS**
- Responsible for supporting project management activities in Brantford for all current and future contracts. Maximizing project efficiency and profitability
- Assist in overseeing NEP Brantford’s manufacturing processes including but not limited to: budgeting, planning, reporting, auditing and develop/implement operational policies and procedures.
- Act as the Engineering Delegate in support of our Quality Assurance manual and support internal compliance at the NEP Brantford facility.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production planning & reporting-out using standard methods.
- Assist in coordinating activities across all departments (production, quality assurance, engineering & purchasing) to ensure NEP Brantford’s overall operational goals are satisfied.
- Continually analyze manufacturing data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Technical Engineering reports where required for internal/external customers.
- Support compliance and ensure adherence to NEP’s health and safety program, quality assurance program, and environmental standards.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
We are looking for someone with a mechanical engineering background. You will have your P.Eng. or C.E.T. designation within Ontario in good standing or be working towards obtaining one. All relevant knowledge having been obtained from previous assignments with leadership experience and people management. You have 7+ years experience in Engineering with progressively increasing levels of responsibility within the field of manufacturing. You exhibit excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
You will also bring solid experiences and professionalism in:
- ASME Section II, III & IX are a strong assets.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS NAV
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience.
- Leadership, conflict management skills and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Ability to converse and lead 20-30 people on a daily basis when required
- Strong proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal English.
