Who Are We?

We are a hockey development company that specializes in helping hockey players and teams achieve their hockey goals. We work with 5,000+ athletes annually through a range of private, team and association programs. We are currently looking for motivated & experienced coaches to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coach and facilitate instructional sessions for a variety of minor hockey teams from recreation to elite teams
- Follow and implement lesson plans and curriculum materials
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Provide guidance and support to athletes, addressing any questions or concerns
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure program success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instruction

The type of coaches we are looking to add to our team will meet the qualifications below:

- Have a genuine interest in the well-being and on-ice development of clients
- Have a passion for helping participants/clients identify on-ice errors and correct them
- Have the ability to understand, dictate and demonstrate the necessary teaching points
- Bring a positive and pleasant attitude to the rink everyday
- Are constantly striving to better not only themselves but also other team members
- Exercise appropriate judgement in all situations
- Have a passion for the game and a hockey background
- Have the ability to be responsible and decisive
- Have the ability to follow direction and policies as set out by the head instructors
- Have the ability to encourage fun and safe learning amongst all participants
- Always concerned with ensuring the best customer experience possible

Additional Qualifications
- The ability to work flexible hours
- The ability to show high level proficiency to skate, stickhandle and shoot with confidence
- The ability to arrange transportation to and from each shift
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must provide a clear Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector)
- Have the necessary equipment (Skates, gloves, helmet and stick)

We are not looking for a coach whom knows how to play hockey and is interested in collecting a pay cheque for doing so. We hire dedicated individuals with a genuine interest in helping youth players better themselves while being paid for their commitment to those kids.

Pay expectations
- Your compensation will be decided based on a few elements. Three of those primary factors will be knowledge, experience and your practical interview if you should receive one.

Pay: $16.55-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 3 years (preferred)
