**Overview**:
The Financial Controller coordinates the financial affairs of the organization. The incumbent prepares financial analysis of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of the management and executive as deemed necessary or requested.

You are responsible for the company's financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. The position involves supervision over general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgetary controls.

Key Accountabilities:
Coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions

Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions/departments

Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget

Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:
Oversee daily operations of the finance department

Oversee the operations of management information systems processes

Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses

Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts for the executives as requested

Your Attributes:

- **Have a post-secondary degree in finance or accounting and professional accounting designation**:

- **Experience running a team**:

- **Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles and concepts**:

- **Strong knowledge of budgeting and cash flow forecasting techniques, financial statement analysis including key trends analysis, project costing techniques, financial controls and business case analysis**:

- **Interpersonal skills necessary to train others in performing key financial activities and supervise their work**:

- **Experience in a food industry environment is an asset**

Pay: $70,773.95-$129,753.73 per year
