**Position Summary**

The agent must observe and respond to Video Verified information being monitored from the client’s security system. In the role, you will provide customer service, review VMS equipment and collaborate as a team, among other duties.

**Essential Responsibilities**

  • Dispatch audio/access signals to establish emergency/required by customer services.
  • Document the alarms and solutions (steps taken) in the client’s database.
  • Accurate and timely Dispatching of calls to proper emergency contacts (911, client’s requested emergency contacts).
  • Periodically verify VMS equipment and notify management of any issues, or concerns with equipment.
  • Data entry including customer account maintenance.
  • Other affiliated duties related to the position or upon request from management

**Qualifications**

  • Available to work flexible shifts when necessary (morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, weekend and/or statutory holiday shifts).
  • Available to work on a rotating schedule.
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Must be bonded.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Multilingual an asset but not necessary.
  • Must have excellent written communication skills as well as a professional phone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills required with the ability to resolve conflict and problems. Be able to manage difficult customer situations.
  • Experience in the security industry is an asset
  • Critical thinking, self-motivation and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate individually as well as in a team.
  • Strong computer skills, with an ability to learn new software programs quickly. Prior experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word an asset
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and obtain a Government of British Columbia Alarm Monitoring License.
  • Please list all certifications that you have obtained.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
