**Job Title: Bagger Operator**

**Department**:Finishing

**Shift**: _Days:_Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm

**Job Location**:Duha Color Services Winnipeg (750 Bradford St. Winnipeg, MB)

**Reporting To**:Department Manager

**General Job Description**:
The Bagger Operator reports directly to the Finishing Manager in the Finishing Department and is responsible for day-to-day functions such as machine setup, operation, preparing for shipping, and miscellaneous duties as required. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment, and adhere to company policies.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Machine set-up-adjust feeders for stock size, set up a counter, adjust guide rails, length of the card, crimper speed, a knife between cards, etc.
- Machine operation-check counter to ensure correct count, ensure the feeder is full, communicate with an assistant when the new card is approaching the line, remove the rejected product, fix jams, etc.
- Labeling and double-checking box to ensure information is correct
- Prepare for shipping-prepare & check the manifest and the master list, inventory manifest, and skid for shipping
- Bagging Database entries
- Compliance with safety policies and requirements
- General clean-up of the area
- Miscellaneous other duties as required including running other machinery

**Job Qualification and Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and high level of organization
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Positive work ethic and excellent attendance record
- Ability to keep records, write legibly and communicate in English
- Must be able to lift material weighing 50lbs maximum

**Education/Training/Experience**:

- High School Diploma or Level 12 G.E.D.
- Machine operator/production experience as an asset
- Knowledge of quality and safety issues
- Sheet fed machine experience is an asset
- Computer experience is an asset
