**Job Summary**:
The General Labour employee will have a varied role. When required, they will be assigned to various positions in the plant. They can be assigned to assisting on a machine, asked to cleanup an area, and or assist in our shipping department, and any other area designated by their supervisor.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- None

**Reporting Structure**:

- This position shall report into the production manager.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- To load and unload glass into a machine or off of a machine.
- Follow Health & Safety regulations while working at all times
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with shipping functions as may be designated including preparing loads
- Assist loading of the company truck
- Assist in various areas of the plant when required. T

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Highly punctual
- Able to work as a functioning member of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment

**Education and Experience**:

- A full Class G license with a clean abstract

**Physical Requirements**:

- Will entail prolonged periods of walking & standing
- Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Safety equipment will be required, e.g., steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.

**Key Performance Indicators**:

- Ensure that they work in a safe manner at all times
- Follow supervisor instructions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
