**Scope of the Position**:
The Onsite Service Coordinator performs the following duties: Schedule, and discuss Trailer availability with internal / External customers, Coordinate with internal / external customers on our expectations, Coordinate with construction order desk to ensure the trailer is properly set-up with the Correct customer, PO and ship-to's, Quoting, Billing, Facilitate the loading and unloading of onsite trailers, storage of merchandise and supplies, Training Shutdown attendants and general housekeeping.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively supports the Company’s quality process to achieve total satisfaction of external and internal customer’s requirements, striving for error free work.
- Required to support and train the shutdown and turnaround attendants.
- Sets and maintains high standards of professionalism in all aspects of both business and personal endeavors.
- Oversee the shutdown opportunities and assist in the staffing for those opportunities.
- Checks, counts and account for items within trailers; verifies accurate count of incoming and outgoing materials and merchandise.
- Assists in the annual inventory; may write up receiving or shipping reports; may file documentation.
- Quoting and billing of all trailer related activities.
- Ongoing communication and collaboration with members of Supply Chain.
- Strives for continuous improvement by offering suggestions that could improve the process, procedures or safety.
- Completes required documents neatly and accurately and in a timely manner.
- Notifies supervisor for potential security problems.
- always Observes safety regulations and wears required safety attire.
- Maintains good housekeeping and reports any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment; reports fire and safety hazards to their supervisor.
- Follows ISO procedures for Pick-pack-ship and Receiving process, and Verification process.
- Completes all necessary documents for receiving discrepancies including Non conformances etc.
- handle requests from internal / external customers.
- Maintain and Process daily invoicing.
- Read, understand, and follow Vallen’s health, safety, and environment policies and all applicable OH&S legislation/regulations
- Actively participate in Vallen’s health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections
- Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses
- Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return to work programs or requirements
- Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- TDG - Dangerous Goods Course.
- Whmis training course.
- Ability to operate all equipment and vehicles safely.
- Ability to read, write and communicate.
- Ability to operate computer and company software.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to make decisions which effect warehouse procedures under the direction of the Supervisor.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.
- Ability to move and handle merchandise weighing 0-50 pounds.
- Good eye/hand coordination, and good motor skills.
- Ability to stand, squat, stretch, and bend.
- May require valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
