We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Catering Event Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our events on-site. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while managing a team ranging in size.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site and understanding their event requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including chefs, serving staff, and other event coordinators, to ensure seamless event execution.
- Conduct site visits to venues and provide recommendations for event setup and logistics.
- Manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Oversee event setup, including decor, table arrangements, and staff requirements.
- Supervise catering staff during events, ensuring service standards are met and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovative event concepts, and emerging technologies.

**Qualifications**:

- Restaurant and/or catering experience required.
- Management experience for a minimum of 2 years.
- Proven track record of successfully executing large-scale events.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, culinary concepts, and menu development.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detail-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
