Marine Upholsterer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Upholsterer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and manufacturing upholstery for production and custom boats. Your work will involve cutting, sewing, and fitting materials to ensure that all upholstery meets high standards of craftsmanship, comfort, and durability in a marine environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform upholstery installations and repairs on marine vessels, including seating, cushions, and covers.
- Measure and cut upholstery pieces, ensuring precision and high-quality finishes.
- Use industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble upholstery, ensuring strong, durable seams.
- Install zippers, fasteners, and other finishing hardware on cushions, boat covers, and other upholstered items.
- Inspect completed upholstery for quality assurance, ensuring that each piece meets industry standards and customer specifications.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a marine or boat-building environment.
- Strong knowledge of marine upholstery materials and tools, including fabrics, vinyl, foam, and industrial sewing machines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions, including being on boats and working in confined spaces.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and working with marine-specific materials.
