**Position Overview**:
Applications are invited for a number of summer positions of Playground Supervisor I and II in the Community Services Department. This position carries out special events, games, arts and crafts and other activities for children at various locations throughout the City. The season runs from approximately the last week in June to the third week in August.

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**:
Assigned to a specific neighbourhood play area of the city, the playground supervisor will:
? Implement daily programs as assigned.
? Maintain and record accurate account of equipment, supplies and uniforms
? Assist with the implementation of promotional events.
? Follow acts, regulations, bylaws, agreements, policies and procedures.
? Follow regulations, acts and policies of Occupational Health & Safety.
? Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:
? Grade 12 or equivalent
? Valid driver’s license
? First Aid and CPR “C” Certification from a recognized institution
? WHMIS 2015
? Must attend and complete an SPRA Play Leadership Workshop or have current “Play Leader”
or “Play Mentor” Certification through SPRA

All successful applicants will require a recent criminal record check prior to commencing employment with the City of Prince Albert.
