**Jenkins Construction is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team.**

**Who are are looking for**:

- Competent individual in two or more of the following building stages: foundation, framing, building envelope, finishing.
- Strong work ethic focused on site production.
- Good communicator.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Competence in 2 of the main building stages Formwork, framing, siding, and finishing.
- Complete jobs using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively as trained and required.
- Complete all assigned work safely and efficiently.
- Ensure maintenance of all tools and equipment.
- Direct laborers and apprentices onsite.
- Ability to produce results in a team environment and independently.

**Requirements**:

- EducationHighschool Diploma

Some post secondary education in construction
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in construction at a Carpentry level
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work with people in a variety of circumstances
- Ability to lift 60lbs, as required.
- Ability to work in a production environment.
- Carpenter’s pouch, hand tools, Skill saw, Drill set, 4’ Level and rafter Square.
- A Journeyman Certification is an asset.
