Our newly renovated studio features beautiful open spaces, small group training zones, and a collaborative environment that brings together top professionals across fitness, health, and recovery.

**About the Role**:
WEWELL is seeking an experienced **Group Fitness Trainer** with a **minimum of 5 years leading strength-based group classes**. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional group experiences that combine functional movement, progressive overload, and motivation—while maintaining proper technique, injury prevention, and inclusivity for all fitness levels.

You’ll work alongside our team of personal trainers, Pilates instructors, physiotherapists, and naturopathic doctors to support client progress in and beyond the group class setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead 45-60 minute small-group fitness classes focused on strength, conditioning, and full-body movement
- Adapt classes for all levels, offering modifications and progressions
- Create a welcoming, high-energy environment that motivates and supports each client
- Educate participants on form, tempo, breathing, and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with the broader WEWELL team to align with client care plans and programming
- Help build class attendance and promote upcoming group programs
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, community, and excellence

**Requirements**:

- **5+ years of experience** teaching group fitness classes with a focus on strength training
- Certified through a recognized organization (e.g. ACE, NASM, CFES, CanFitPro, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of proper lifting mechanics, injury prevention, and progressive programming
- Excellent coaching and cueing skills—verbal and visual
- High-energy, motivating presence with a client-centered teaching style
- Availability for at least two classes per week, with room to grow
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
