**Area Franchise Lead**

The position is being the business partner for the franchisees in the area that they cover. They are the first point of contact for anything related to the company and the franchisee's restaurants, including operations, marketing, and development. Oversees the Manager, Franchise Performance within region and supports them in their job functions. The Area Franchise Lead works with the franchisees to look at all of the data provided by the global operations team. Seeks to understand where there are areas of opportunities in sales, traffic, and operations, helping the franchisee and the Manager, Franchise Performance identify improvement plans and actions. Works with franchisees negotiating local partnerships for restaurant growth and negotiates remodel agreements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for new restaurant openings in the area
- Responsible for restaurant remodels in the area
- Responsible for improving operation metrics
- Responsible for advising franchisees on profitability
- Responsible for conducting business reviews with franchisees

**Essential Duties**:

- Supports Manager, Franchise Performance and franchisees to improve operations metrics
- Supports the Division Marketing Manager in executes local marketing promotions for division
- Works with the operations team and franchisees to look at all of the data provided by the global operations team
- Serves as the first point of contact for anything related to the company and the local Burger King restaurants (operations, marketing, development)

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of operations, marketing, and development
- Skilled in negotiating and working with franchisees; skilled in problem solving
- Ability to clearly communicate and understand information in business English, both orally and in writing; ability to influence suppliers/partners; ability to set strategy
- 4 to 6 years previous experience; specific experience in Franchise Operations preferred
