Volvo Cars Hamilton, a premier dealership specializing in Volvo vehicles, is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. **Responsibilities**:
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, and guiding them through the service process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles, providing cost estimates, and obtaining necessary approvals for repairs.
- Utilize your automotive knowledge to accurately assess and diagnose vehicle issues, working closely with service technicians to recommend appropriate repairs and maintenance services.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer needs with workshop availability, and optimizing service department productivity.
- Prepare detailed and accurate service orders, documenting customer concerns, vehicle information, and recommended repairs.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs, maintaining open lines of communication to address any challenges or changes in the repair process.
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding recommended maintenance services, warranties, and vehicle recalls, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and collection of payments from customers, addressing any billing or payment inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Volvo vehicles, service procedures, and industry trends through continuous learning and training opportunities.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Previous automotive service advisor experience is essential, preferably within a dealership environment.
- Strong automotive knowledge and familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with customers, colleagues, and technicians.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, handling customer concerns and complaints with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with service management systems and software.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Hamilton, ON L9B 1B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
