**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANAGER, HEALTH & SAFETY**

As the Manager of Health and Safety, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors. You will be responsible for implementing and managing the company's Health and Safety program, which includes setting standards, conducting training, identifying and correcting potential hazards, and continuously improving our programs. You will lead and supervise regional Health and Safety Advisors and work closely with branch and job site leaders to ensure effective implementation of policies and programs. Your duties will also include managing the Certificate of Recognition program, preparing monthly safety reports, and assisting in facility and job site inspections. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing incidents and compensation claims, serving as the primary contact for regulatory officials, and managing the activities of your subordinates. With your strong leadership, coaching, and analytical skills, you will be a key player in helping our organization operate safely and efficiently.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in health and safety position.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French is **REQUIRED**:

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- University degree or college diploma in Health and Safety, Business, or related field is required.
- CRSP or CSP designation or working towards.
