**Duties**:

- Operate slinger trucks to safely cover exposed underground utilities and pipelines
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment and ensure proper maintenance
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues
- Coordinate with team members to complete excavation projects efficiently
- Adhere to project specifications and guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

**Skills**:

- Heavy equipment operation experience, particularly with slinger trucks
- Proficiency in operating slinger trucks
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques and practices
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including digging

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
- Standard First Aid Certificate
- ABCGA Endorsed Ground Disturbance Level 2 Certificate
- CSTS 2020 Certificate
- Fall Protection Certificate
