The Espanola & Area Family Health Team is an
interdisciplinary group of allied health professionals
promoting improved health of individuals in and around
Espanola by providing increased access to a range of
health care services.

- Qualifications:
- Community College Diploma in Mental Health
and Addictions; or a combination of +3 years
relevant work experience and the Opioid
Dependence Treatment Certification or other
equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer
Electronic Medical Record software). Knowledge
and experience performing basic accounting
functions.
- Possess knowledge of Rapid Access to
Addictions Medicine (RAAM) Program and
personnel policies and procedures.
- Analytical skills to assess client needs; ensure
appropriate referral and case management, and
to prepare written reports.
- Comprehensive knowledge in addictions,
awareness of current research, issues and
trends as they relate to therapeutic approaches.
- Presentation and public relations skills to
promote our service and make addictions
related presentations to the community.
- Appointment scheduling experience and an
understanding of the Canadian Triage and
Acuity Scale.
- Excellent communication skills and strong
interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide regular attendance.
- Knowledge of Consent and Release of
Information legislation.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.
- Mental Health First Aide is preferred.
- Benefits:
- Starting wage $20.829 - $23.442 per hour
