Job Summary: Cleans and prepares public areas by meeting hotel standards of cleanliness

Job Duties:

- General cleaning of lobby, meeting rooms, public washrooms and all common areas of hotel.
- Cleaning includes, sweeping, mopping and dusting but not limited to.
- Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets, fixtures, public areas and hallways.
- Removes garbage and recycling from floors and brings to dumpster.
- Picks up used linens and towels from all floors and brings to laundry room.
- Packs clean linens and towels from the laundry room and brings to housekeeping attendants on floors.
- Shampoos carpets in rooms, hallways, breakfast areas as needed.
- Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings in common areas of hotel.
- Assists with packing housekeeping storage rooms with guest room supplies (eg, shampoo, coffee, extra blankets, extra pillows).
- Vacuums public areas and hallways.
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Maintaining Pool water chemistry.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
