We specialize in Pre-Construction Planning, Design Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Manufacturing, Safety, QA/QC & Engineering Validation/Documentation. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Brake & Shear Operator to join our team. Job Description (Duties and Responsibilities): Safely operate hydraulic shear and press brake machines to shear, bend, and form steel components. Operate a forklift. Operate overhead crane to lift and move sheets of steel. Layout, drill and tap holes. Assist with the preparation of steel parts prior to welding and assembly. Use other hand tools and equipment to assist with the fabrication of our equipment. Demonstrate care with respect to quality and thoroughness of work. Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor. Education, Training and Abilities: Minimum 3 years experience using Accurpress Brakes and Shears. Forklift Experience. (Licensed Preferred) Demonstrate clear communication skills with the ability to speak and write in the English language. Physically fit and able to do physically demanding work. Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. Punctual, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with others. Welding Experience would be an Asset. Experience in Training Others. Experience in Reading Drawings. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift. Frequent climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting. Proficiency in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
