Warehouse and Production Leader

**Warehouse Leader - South Western Ontario**

Reports to: National Sales and Operations Manager

Manage and oversee all Warehouse activities including shipping, receiving and inventory. This role will work closely with the Delivery Driver, Order Desk and Office Administrator.

**Position Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our growing team. Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse; changing warehouse footprint when necessary; and supervising / working alongside warehouse staff.

**Warehouse Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Receive orders from order desk and organize schedule of when each delivery is built, and local deliveries are shipped
- Load trucks for delivery in efficient manner
- Unload delivery trucks keeping product organized and put away in appropriate areas
- Controls inventory levels by conducting regular physical counts
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by strategically planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Improve efficiency and productivity, improve quality and accuracy and reduce costs.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Bring enthusiasm, experience and structure to growing warehouse.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Ability to operate equipment on site, light machinery, forklifts, and large vehicles
- Current driver and forklift license required
- Proven leadership skills
- Effective communication skills, memory, and math abilities
- Pays close attention to detail
- Possesses excellent organizational skills
- Manages time effectively
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changes throughout the day
- Able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed (60+ lbs.)

**Start Date**:Flexible

**Hours**: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

**Salary**:Competitive based on experience and skill set brought to the position

**Experience/Education**:A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
